The American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) states that only 12-15% of animal hospitals hold accreditation. This is significant because there are no governing organizations for animal hospitals outside AAHA and state minimum requirements. We practice high-quality pet medicine and volunteered for accreditation to show it. AAHA representatives inspected us on a full battery of standards that include sanitation, equipment, safety protocols, and client communications. Every three years, we are reinspected on around 900 different standards that change according to research and advancements in veterinary medicine's best practices.
