We feel we get the best & the most professional care needed for our pets. If someone does not know the answer to a question, they find out & they care. - Sandra H.

Why We're AAHA Accredited

Since our inception in 1962, Arbor Pet Hospital has been dedicated to providing service that makes pets and owners alike want to return to us year after year—service that involves compassion, professionalism, and friendliness. It is this dedication to excellence that led us to become an AAHA-accredited pet hospital in 1981. Now, more than 34 years later, we continue to maintain the high standards set forth by this organization as we continue to service the Fort Lauderdale area.

What Is AAHA?

AAHA is the acronym for the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA), which is a veterinary organization that was established in 1933 by a team of veterinary leaders. This team wanted to make a positive difference in pet hospitals by helping veterinary professionals deliver only the best possible veterinary care. To do that, they created a list of over 900 stringent standards related to pet care and client services and awarded accreditation to any practice that met those standards. These standards include facility cleanliness, technology and equipment, and client service.

The mission of AAHA involves three primary factors:

What AAHA Accreditation Means for You

Every three years, Arbor Pet Hospital is evaluated on standards of veterinary excellence to maintain our accreditation status. Our decision to remain an AAHA-accredited practice for over three decades demonstrates our commitment, not only to providing the highest quality pet care, but the highest quality customer service as well. We want both our patients and our clients to be 100% satisfied with every visit to our practice. To date, only about 15% of veterinary hospitals hold the honor of accreditation, and we are proud to be one of them.
