She earned her associate's degree from Florida Atlantic University (FAU) and her liberal arts degree from Palm Beach State College, graduating with honors. While a student, she was a member of the Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society. As our bilingual receptionist, she serves as our translator and loves interacting with clients, helping them feel welcome and more comfortable at the practice. Although her position involves interacting primarily with clients, she often has opportunities to observe procedures that give patients relief and their owners peace of mind. This always brings a smile to her face. She also enjoys watching the relief that comes over pet owners, once their pets are in the doctors' hands. As an animal lover, Noelia is the proud pet mom of a Beagle named Brody and a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Charlie. In her spare time, she enjoys massages, going to the beach, and shopping.

She loves working as a veterinary technician and how the practice is like a second family. She also enjoys educating clients on pet health as well as being involved in the various forms of surgery. When she's not caring for pets, she spends time with her husband, Steve, and her two children, Madison and Jackson. She also has three horses, a pig named Hamma, ducks, chickens, a Weimaraner named Dutchess, and a cat named Harriet. Pam also loves to sew and do anything on or in the water.
Teresa re-joined the Arbor family in December of 2014 and is our practice manager. After pursuing her love of veterinary medicine and animals, she earned her associate's degree from Broward Community College and her bachelor's degree in zoology from the University of Florida (UF). She's also completed continuing education courses in transfusion medicine. While a student at UF, she discovered a rare intestinal parasite in manatees with the assistance of her parasitology professor. She considers the experience one of her greatest accomplishments. Teresa has over seven years of experience as a veterinary technician, including one year of avian research assisting at UF. As one of the receptionists at Arbor Pet Hospital, she welcomes the many learning opportunities that come with every day. She also loves witnessing the clients' appreciation after their pets have been treated. Teresa is happily married to Billy and has two daughters, Madison and Emily. She also has two dogs named Tessie and Emma and four cats named Mr. Naughty, Crazy, Moosh, and Bud. In her spare time, she enjoys boating, going to the beach, crafting, and doing anything with family.
After "playing vet" as a child, working in the veterinary field became the inevitable career path for Buffy. She joined the Arbor Pet Hospital technician team in March of 1990, after attending college at Nova University as well as numerous continued education classes. With the unpredictable nature of a veterinary hospital, she loves that there's something new every day and that no two days on the job are alike. She also loves the family-like setting of the hospital and being able to assist the doctors in surgery. Buffy is married with a daughter and a son. She also has two dogs named Woody and Dixie and a cat named Frankie. When she's not helping clients and pets at work, she enjoys relaxing at the beach.
Glen became a technician at Arbor Pet Hospital in June of 1998. He is well known for performing X-rays, a task that he finds to be one of his favorites. One of his most memorable experiences involved assisting in the removal of a putrefied egg from in a snake. He shares his home with his wife, Rebecca, and their two children, Dwayne and Brittany. He also has three cats named Zona, Hazie, and Whittaker, as well as a dog named Mollie. In his spare time, he enjoys playing Xbox video games. He loves Pomeranians and, if he could, would own hundreds of them.
Theresa has always admired the unconditional love of companion animals and the rare bond they share with humans, which is why she chose to become a veterinary technician. She joined our team in August of 1999 with a bachelor's degree from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton. She also regularly attends continuing education classes. In her 15+ years as a technician, she's worked with orthopedic specialists and emergency cases. She also serves as our dental expert and has been performing dental procedures for over 20 years, but her favorite aspects of being a technician are surgery and emergency cases. She also has a soft spot for geriatric patients and considers it an honor to care for them, especially at the end of their lives, when you know they've only made it to where they are because of love.
Theresa shares her home with her boyfriend, Mike, and their five dogs and five tortoises. In her spare time, she works with giant tortoises, including endangered Galapagos Island tortoises. One of her most memorable experiences involved loading a 600-pound tortoise into an ambulance. She also spends her spare time with her boyfriend, bike riding, going to the beach, and doing yoga. Aside from pets, she loves tattoos and elephants. She once rode on the back of an elephant in the jungle of Chiang Mai in Thailand!

Alex joined our veterinary assistant team in June of 2002 after seizing the opportunity to leave his non-animal-related job to pursue a long-time dream of working with animals. He attended El Universidad del Pacifico in Santiago, Chile. He likes being part of the professional team at Arbor Pet Hospital, a team he considers a family. His favorite aspect of being a veterinary assistant is making animals feel like they are his own pets. He has a knack for working with aggressive dogs and is often called upon for this purpose. When he's not at work, Alex cares for his terrier, Teddy Bear. He also loves to cook, swim, work out, and listen to music.
Years before becoming a veterinary assistant, Karen was a care taker of baby animals when she was young. She even spent time at the South Florida Wildlife Care Center. Her family let her keep any four-legged critter she brought home, so pursuing a career in the veterinary field was the obvious choice for her. She joined our team in December of 2005 with over 25 years of experience in working with animals. As a veterinary assistant, she enjoys working with animals—especially dogs—and assisting the doctors in making them well. Her own pets include two dogs, two cats, and a bird. In her spare time, she enjoys driving her new Dodge Charger and visiting the Florida Keys.
